Toronto, Canada · Booking new projects

Websites from $199. Yes, really.

AI made building software dramatically faster. Most agencies kept the difference and sent the same invoice. We passed it to you instead — same craft, same person accountable, a price that reflects what the work actually takes now.

No sales team, no account managers. You talk to the person writing the code.

The honest version

We use AI to cut your bill, not to pad ours.

Every studio in Toronto is using AI now. Most are using it to do the same work in a fraction of the time — and still sending the same invoice. That gap is the entire reason this business exists.

Where the money went

The maths we're not hiding

A clean one-page site used to be the better part of a week — hand-writing the markup, the styles, the responsive fixes, the testing. That's why it cost two or three thousand dollars. It now takes an afternoon.

Nothing about the output got cheaper. It still gets designed, reviewed, tested, and signed off by a person who's accountable for it. What changed is how many hours it burns — so our prices follow the hours, not what the market got used to paying in 2019.

The trade-off, stated plainly: at $199 the scope is genuinely small. More pages, more integrations, more logic — the price climbs with all of it. It just climbs from an honest floor instead of a padded one.

Nothing gets marked up

Hosting, domains, AI model usage, third-party licences — all billed to your own accounts at cost. We don't resell them at a margin, so we have no quiet incentive to pick the expensive option.

Run costs modelled, then capped

AI features cost money every time they run. We work out the per-use cost during scoping, show you the monthly figure, and enforce a hard spending limit in code so it can't quietly run away from you.

No rent on your own website

No proprietary platform, no monthly fee just to keep what you paid for online, no exit fee. Support is there if you want it and genuinely optional if you don't.

What we do

Four services. One team that ships all of them.

Most shops do one of these and subcontract the rest. We do all four in-house, which is why the website, the software behind it, and the AI on top of it actually talk to each other.

Monthly retainer

Your personal AI people.

Some businesses have enough going on that one-off projects stop making sense — there's always another workflow to automate, another system to connect, another thing the team wants to know if AI can handle. Instead of quoting each one, we hold a standing share of the month for you.

From $2,499/month

An AI department, without hiring one

A standing block of our time every month, spent on whatever is actually most useful to you that month — building an automation, fixing something that broke, reviewing a tool before you sign, or sitting with your team while they learn to use it properly.

You get a named person who already knows your systems, so you're not re-explaining your business every time. Unused work doesn't roll over, and we'll tell you when a month is looking light rather than quietly banking it.

The honest comparison is a hire. One in-house developer costs considerably more once you add payroll taxes, benefits, equipment, and the risk of picking the wrong person — and you can't undo a hire in thirty days. You can undo this one.

Cancel any time. Genuinely.

No contract, no minimum term, no notice period, no exit fee. If a month didn't earn its keep, cancel before the next billing date and you're done — and we'd rather you told us why than quietly left.

What it actually covers

Automations and small builds, site and app changes, integrations, tool and vendor review, staff training, and the standing question of "could AI help with this?" — answered honestly, including when the answer is no.

Still nothing marked up

Model usage, hosting, and licences stay on your own accounts at cost. The retainer buys our time, not a reseller margin on someone else's product.

Why us

The parts most people get burned on.

Scope

A fixed price, before anything starts

You get a written scope with a number on it. If we discover something mid-build, we tell you what it costs before we do it — never after. No hourly meter running in the background.

Ownership

You own the code and the accounts

The repository, the hosting, the domain, the API keys — all in your name from day one. If you ever want to take it elsewhere, there's nothing to untangle and no one to ask.

Judgement

We'll talk you out of AI when it's wrong

Plenty of problems are better solved by a form, a database, or fixing a process. We say so. The goal is your business working better, not a demo that impresses people for a week.

Handover

Built to be maintained, including by someone else

Every project ends with documentation, a recorded walkthrough, and a training session for your team. Boring, standard technology — chosen so any competent developer can pick it up.

How it works

Four steps, no mystery.

Small sites go live in days. Larger projects usually run two to six weeks.

A free 20-minute call

You tell us what's slow, broken, or missing. We tell you honestly whether we're the right people and roughly what it costs. No deck, no pitch.

Free · same week

Scope and fixed quote

We map the workflow, write down exactly what gets built, and put a fixed price and date against it. You approve it before a line of code is written.

1–5 business days

Build in the open

You get a working link early and a short update every week. You can see progress, use it before it's finished, and change your mind while changing it is still cheap.

Days to five weeks, depending on scope

Launch, train, hand over

We deploy, transfer everything into your accounts, train your team, and stay on for 30 days of included support. After that, ongoing care is optional — never required.

Questions

Straight answers.

$199 for a website. What's the catch?

The scope, and we'd rather be upfront about it. $199 buys one custom-designed page — mobile-ready, search-ready, with a working contact form. That's the right answer for a lot of trades, consultants, and new businesses. It's the wrong answer if you need twelve pages and an online store, and we'll say so.

What it isn't is a template with your logo dropped in, or a loss-leader that only makes sense once you're locked into a monthly plan. There is no plan. You own it outright, and if you never speak to us again it keeps running.

How can you charge so much less than everyone else?

Because the work genuinely takes less time than it used to, and we priced for that instead of pretending otherwise. AI handles the repetitive parts — boilerplate, first-pass layouts, test scaffolding, content drafts. A person still designs the thing, reviews every line, and is accountable when it breaks.

We also don't carry the overheads baked into agency rates: no account managers, no sales team, no office, and no markup on hosting or licences.

What does it cost to keep running after launch?

For most small sites, $0–25/month — a one-page site fits comfortably inside free hosting tiers, so realistically you're paying for the domain and nothing else. For AI features you pay the model provider per use; we model that during scoping and set hard caps so it can't surprise you.

Care plans start at $49/month and are optional. Plenty of clients take the handover and run it themselves.

We're a small business. Is AI actually worth it for us?

Sometimes, and sometimes not — which is why the first call is free.

AI pays off when you have a task that is high-volume, repetitive, and involves reading or writing text: sorting enquiries, pulling data out of invoices, drafting first-pass quotes, answering the same twelve customer questions. If your bottleneck is somewhere else, we'll tell you and point you at the cheaper fix.

Where does our data go? We have privacy obligations.

We design for PIPEDA from the start and default to Canadian or US data residency depending on what your situation requires. We'll tell you exactly which third parties touch your data, what they retain, and how to turn training-on-your-data off.

For sensitive workloads we can build with models that run in your own cloud tenancy, or on-premise where it's warranted.

Do you work with businesses outside Toronto?

Yes — across Canada and into the US. Toronto and the GTA get the option of in-person workshops and kickoffs; everyone else gets the same work over video. We keep Eastern hours either way.

We already have a website and some tools. Can you just improve them?

Often that's the better move. We do audits, performance and SEO fixes, and integration work on systems we didn't build. If the honest answer is that rebuilding costs less than repairing, we'll show you the math rather than just asserting it.

What's the difference between a care plan and the monthly retainer?

A care plan ($49/month) keeps something we already built running: hosting, backups, security updates, and small content changes. It's maintenance.

The monthly retainer (from $2,499/month) is people, not maintenance — a standing share of our month to build new things, automate what's annoying you, and answer the AI questions your team keeps raising. It's the option for businesses with a steady stream of this work rather than one project. Most clients on a retainer don't need a separate care plan; it's included.

If you just want the site you paid for kept online and occasionally edited, take the care plan. We'll tell you if you're on the wrong one.

Who actually does the work?

The person you talk to on the call. We use AI heavily in our own build process — that's the entire reason the prices look like this — but every line that ships is reviewed by a human who understands it and can support it afterwards.
